BEML bags dual honours at ET Leadership Excellence Awards 2025

New Delhi: State-owned BEML Limited has secured two major accolades at the ET Leadership Excellence Awards 2025, underscoring its leadership in indigenous engineering and innovation.

The company received the 'Trusted Brand Excellence Award', while BEML Limited's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Shantanu Roy has been conferred with the Excellence in Indigenous Engineering Award.

The awards were presented in New Delhi by renowned actor and National Award winner Anupam Kher. Instituted by Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India Group), the ET Leadership Excellence Awards recognise organisations and leaders who have set benchmarks in excellence, trust, and innovation.

BEML was recognised for its pioneering contributions to India’s engineering landscape, including the rollout of the country’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Trainset, development of a 1,500 HP indigenously designed tank engine, next-generation mining and defence solutions, high-mobility vehicles, and its role in bullet train projects.

According to the company, the honours reaffirm BEML’s commitment to driving indigenous capability and powering India’s growth story.
