New Delhi: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) participated in the “HR for the Greater Good Conclave 2024: Celebrating the best HR Practices" organised by XLRI Jamshedpur from August 26 to August 27.

This landmark event served as a remarkable platform bringing together thought leaders, HR professionals, organisational leaders, HR professionals and academicians for exchanging ideas on sustainable HR practices across Central Public Enterprises (CPSEs), focusing on HR’s role in social responsibility, employee well-being, high-performance work systems, governance and ethics and environmental performance.

The conclave featured a keynote deliberation by the DVC Member (Secretary) Dr John Mathai on the topic of “Challenges faced by HR in CPSUs.” The industry experts resonated with the ideas and solutions pitched by him to address HR challenges in CPSUs.

DVC bagged the Winner’s trophy in the category of “Celebrating the Best Practices in Corporate Sustainability” at this conclave. This recognition conferred to the Member-Secretary, DVC and his dedicated team reaffirms DVC’s unwavering commitment to sustainable development and our journey towards the greater good.
