EIL celebrates 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour

New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL) celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with patriotic zeal and fervour at its offices in New Delhi and Gurugram.

The celebrations began with the hoisting of the National Flag by EIL Chairman and Managing Director Atul Gupta at Engineers India Bhawan in New Delhi and the company’s office complex in Gurugram. The programme was attended by senior officials, employees and their families.

Addressing the gathering, Gupta highlighted EIL’s continued efforts towards supporting the Government of India’s flagship initiatives and strengthening India’s journey towards global leadership. He underlined the company’s focus on indigenous technology and designs, Local to Global initiatives, PM Gati Shakti, the Green Economy, advanced technical capabilities and engineering excellence.

He called upon Team EIL to contribute collectively to the company’s growth, guided by its five-pillar strategy comprising business growth and diversification, operational excellence and project management, technical excellence and innovation, digital transformation, and human excellence.

According to EIL, these strategic priorities are aligned with the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and are aimed at enhancing the company’s capabilities, promoting indigenous solutions and strengthening its contribution to nation-building.

Gupta also emphasised the importance of employee health and wellbeing, urging employees to give due attention to physical fitness, health and wellness, including the practice of Yoga, to maintain a healthy and productive workforce.

The celebrations featured patriotic songs and dance performances by members of the EIL family. On the occasion, the C&MD and Directors also presented Annual Awards for 2025-26 to recognise the outstanding performance and contributions of employees across various categories.
