Jal Shakti Minister unveils new WAPCOS logo

New Delhi: The Union Minister of Jal Shakti CR Patil unveiled the new WAPCOS logo on its 55th Annual day on June 26. On the occasion, Minister of State of Jal Shakti Dr Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Secretary (DoWR RD & GR) Debashree Mukherjee, WAPCOS Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) RK Agrawal and other senior officials from Ministry of Jal Shakti and WAPCOS were also present.

On the occasion, the Minister also released WAPCOS‘ Corporate Coffee Table Booklet and film.

In the new logo of WAPCOS, the Globe signifies our Global footprints over 75+ countries. Green colour symbolises our commitment for sustainable development in every aspects of company's operation through our projects. Water has been central to Ministry of Jal Shakti and WAPCOS and therefore Blue Waves symbolises our pioneering works, WAPCOS said in a post on X.

"The building signifies our presence in infrastructure sector. The electricity sign inside O brings clarity, our leadership position and our aspirations in power sector," it added.
