NMDC conducts capacity-building programme on 'vigilance'

Around 55 executives from NMDC’s projects and head office participated in the programme, which focused on public procurement, post-award contract management and cyber security

New Delhi/Hyderabad: NMDC’s Vigilance Department organised a two-day Capacity Building Programme on September 10-11 in Hyderabad as part of preparations for the Vigilance Awareness campaign.

Around 55 executives from NMDC’s projects and head office participated in the programme, which focused on public procurement, post-award contract management and cyber security.

The sessions covered new features and functionalities of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), contemporary procurement practices, contract management and cyber security and hygiene.

The programme was inaugurated by NMDC Director (Production) Joydeep Das Gupta and Chief Vigilance Officer C. Neelakanta Reddy. The initiative is aimed at strengthening vigilance awareness, transparency, integrity and accountability across the organisation.
