New Delhi: NMDC Limited has bagged 15 awards and three consolation prizes at the 15th PRCI Excellence Awards 2025, held during the 19th Global Communication Conclave of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) in Goa. The recognition underscores NMDC’s achievements in corporate excellence, inclusive leadership, communication, and social responsibility.
The two-day event witnessed the presence of eminent dignitaries including P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Governor of Goa; Dr. Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa; Sripad Yesso Naik, Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy; and Ganesh Gaonkar, Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly. The awards were received on behalf of NMDC by P. Jaya Prakash, General Manager (Corporate Communication), along with the Corporate Communication team.
At the 16th Chanakya Awards 2025, considered among the most prestigious recognitions in communication and leadership, NMDC secured four top honours. These included:
"Administration and Good Governance Award" for Amitava Mukherjee, Chairman & Managing Director
"Inclusive Leadership Award" for Priyadarshani Gaddam, Director (Personnel)
"M.R. Ashok Kumar Memorial Award for Public Relations" for P. Jaya Prakash, GM (Corporate Communication)
"PR Professional of the Year Award" for Ch. Srinivasa Rao, DGM (Corporate Communication)
Additionally, NMDC was conferred the Champion of Champions Award (Runners-up), further solidifying its role as an industry leader in corporate communication and stakeholder engagement.
The company also received accolades across a wide range of categories including Website & Microsite, Community Impact Communication, Corporate Film, Corporate Communication Excellence, Sustainability & Environmental Communication, Healthcare Communication Film, House Journal (English and Regional), Annual Report, Corporate Brochure, Best PR Campaign, CSR Project for Childcare, Arts, Culture & Sports Campaign, Company Cultural Transformation Initiative, and Health Communication Films.
