NTPC Kanti celebrated its first Raising Day at its campus on Saturday

New Delhi: NTPC Kanti celebrated its first Raising Day at its campus on Saturday. KM K Prusty, Head of Project, NTPC Kanti hoisted the NTPC flag on the station premises in the presence of Anand Banerjee, GM(O&M), Manoj Sinha, GM (TS), heads of various departments and employees.

The Project Head while addressing the gathering said that the foundation stone of NTPC Kanti has opened the doors of development in the entire Kanti. The Head of Project highlighted the various achievements of the station and how NTPC Kanti today has not only been able to excel in many areas of operation and maintenance but has also created a positive image in the entire power map of the state and the nation. He also highlighted other notable activities of the institute.

He emphasised the fact that the power station's commitment towards our society, environment and surrounding stakeholders is being followed at all levels and NTPC Kanti is a professionally driven and value-driven organization to all.

He also highlighted the aspects taken up on O&M, Environment, and Ash utilisation in NTPC Kanti and thanked all the unions and departments for their continuous support and feedback.

Later, a plantation drive was also organised by the Head of project in the presence of senior officials of the station. To give the message of environmental protection, a mini-marathon named "Blue Sky Run" was also organised in the residential complex, in which people of all ages participated and gave the message of environmental protection.
