NTPC Kanti receives gold award in CSR Excellence from APEX India

The Gold Award was bestowed upon NTPC Kanti in recognition of its outstanding CSR program aimed at benefiting nearby villagers

New Delhi: NTPC Kanti has been honoured with the prestigious Gold Award in CSR Excellence by APEX India. The award was presented to Sanjay Jaiswal, Senior Manager (HR) on behalf of NTPC Kanti at an event held in Delhi on May 4.

The Gold Award was bestowed upon NTPC Kanti in recognition of its outstanding CSR program aimed at benefiting nearby villagers. NTPC Kanti has been actively involved in empowering the community through various initiatives such as bakery training, Lac bangle training, mushroom training, Honey bee training, and more, benefiting over 500 women to date. Additionally, NTPC Kanti has distributed approximately 200 tricycles to physically handicapped individuals, enhancing their mobility and independence.

Furthermore, NTPC Kanti has provided technical residential training to 20 students in Hajipur and extended educational support to 40 school students within the NTPC Kanti township. These initiatives reflect NTPC Kanti's commitment to social responsibility and community development.

We are not just empowering villagers through CSR activities but also improving infrastructure in nearby villages " said Madhu S., Project Head, NTPC Kanti.
