The programme was led by Sanjib Kumar Saha, Chief General Manager (Vindhyachal), who, along with senior officials and employees, offered floral tributes to the martyrs. Marking the beginning of a week-long fire awareness initiative, Saha also administered the Fire Safety Pledge and flagged off activities aimed at enhancing emergency preparedness across the station.

In his address, Saha highlighted NTPC Vindhyachal’s achievement of the Agni Suraksha Puraskar in the previous financial year and stressed the need for continued vigilance and strict adherence to safety protocols. The event witnessed the presence of senior leadership, including officials from operations, maintenance, medical services, and human resources.
