New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) organised a session on “Stress Management and Yoga” at its Corporate Centre, Gurugram. The session was conducted by Padma Shri Dr HR Nagendra, Chancellor, S-VYASA (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana).

Power Grid's CMD RK Tyagi felicitated the guests in presence of Power Grid's Director (Operations) Naveen Srivastava, Director (Projects) Burra Vamsi Rama Mohan, CVO Naveen Kumar along with senior officials of Power Grid.

During the session, Dr Nagendra shared valuable perspectives on integrating yoga and mindfulness practices into daily life for enhanced mental and physical well-being, improved focus, and fostering teamwork in professional environments. His talk emphasized the role of holistic wellness in promoting a balanced and productive lifestyle.

As on September 30, the total transmission assets of Power Grid and its subsidiaries stands at 1,80,864 ckm of transmission lines, 286 substations, 5,81,831 MVA of transformation capacity and a system availability of 99.83 percent.
