REC receives Rajbhasha Deepti Award from Ministry of Power

This award has been given to REC for the excellent implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Government of India in the year 2023-24

New Delhi: REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU and a leading NBFC, has been awarded Rajbhasha Deepti Shield Award for its excellent work in the field of official language in all the offices and undertakings under the Ministry of Power. The award was given on Thursday in the meeting of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, held in New Delhi.

This award has been received by REC CMD Jitendra Srivastava and Executive Director (Official Language) RP Vaishnaw from the Minister of Power and Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal.

This award has been given to REC for the excellent implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Government of India in the year 2023-24.

On this occasion, the Minister of State for Power Shripad Yesso Naik, Secretary of the Ministry of Power Pankaj Agarwal and heads and representatives of all offices and undertakings under the Ministry of Power, members of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Power and other dignitaries were present.

In this meeting, the Minister also released REC's Hindi magazine Urjaayan.
