REC wins ‘Best Design Thinking Award’ at 5th DNA Awards

New Delhi: REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power and a leading non-banking financial company (NBFC), has been honoured with the ‘Best Design Thinking Award’ at the 5th Distinguished NBFC Awards (DNA Awards) organised by Banking Frontiers.

The recognition was conferred on REC for its innovative digital initiatives in retail bonds, which reflect the company’s commitment to leveraging technology and design thinking to enhance customer experience and service delivery.

Congratulating the team, REC's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Jitendra Srivastava lauded the finance division for its “dedication and outstanding contribution in driving digital innovation.” Director (Finance) Harsh Baweja and senior officials of the organisation also joined in the celebrations.

The award was received by Alok Singh, General Manager and CPM (Mumbai), along with members of REC’s finance team. The management highlighted the importance of fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and forward-thinking across all levels of the organisation, and encouraged employees to continue setting benchmarks in the financial sector.
