New Delhi/Indore: Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), in collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), has commenced the six-day classroom immersion programme of its flagship leadership initiative ‘DAKSH 2.1’ at Indian Institute of Management Indore.

The inaugural session of the programme was addressed by Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE; Alka Mittal, Member, CBC; Vineet Hemrajani, Managing Partner at Egon Zehnder; along with Prof Ranjeet Nambudri, Dean (Faculty), and Prof Manish Popli from IIM Indore. Senior officials from CBC, SCOPE and partner institutions were also present.

DAKSH—an acronym for Development of Aspiration, Knowledge, Succession & Harmony—is a 12-month immersive leadership development programme aimed at equipping senior public sector executives with strategic, behavioural and transformational competencies to address evolving governance and business challenges.

Building on the success of its first cohort, the DAKSH 2.1 programme has brought together 72 high-potential senior executives from various Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs). The six-day immersion at IIM Indore will feature faculty-led sessions, case-based discussions and simulations designed to enhance strategic thinking, agility and leadership capabilities in complex environments.
