New Delhi: THDC India Limited (THDC) inaugurated its two-day HR Confluence 'Vimarsh 2025' at the Takshashila HRD Centre in Rishikesh on Monday. The conclave, being held from August 25 to August 26, has brought together leading HR professionals, thought leaders, and senior executives from across sectors to deliberate on the future of human resource management.
Inaugurating the event, THDC's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) RK Vishnoi lauded the HR team for organising a confluence of “national importance.” He underlined the significance of people-centric growth, stating that in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, HR plays a pivotal role in organizational transformation by driving resilience and innovation.
“At THDC, people are the true drivers of growth and excellence. A constant focus on leadership readiness, employee well-being, and capacity building is imperative,” Vishnoi said. He added that Vimarsh 2025 is not only a platform for dialogue but also a collective effort to create a pool of future-ready leaders in alignment with India’s vision of becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
The Confluence was attended by senior dignitaries including THDC's Director (Personnel) Shallinder Singh; Grid India's Director (HR) Paresh Ranpara, Business Transformation Leader & Solutionist Mridul Srivastava; and THDC CGM (HR-Admin, CC) Dr AN Tripathy along with senior officers and participants from various PSUs and leading corporates.
Addressing the gathering, Shallinder Singh described Vimarsh as more than just a summit of HR leaders, calling it “a platform for dialogue, exchange of ideas, and co-creation of strategies.” He emphasized the need for HR professionals to collaborate and share knowledge to meet upcoming challenges collectively. Singh also noted that the name Vimarsh, derived from Sanskrit, signifies “deliberation” or “discussion,” reflecting the essence of the summit.
Organised in collaboration with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the event features high-level discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions. A key highlight was a panel discussion on “Leadership Readiness in an AI-Driven World”, with participation from corporate HR leaders including Shallinder Singh, Paresh Ranpara, Mridul Srivastava, and Ashissh Kaul, Director – Consulting & Capacity Building, SHRM India.
