New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointments of a number of bureaucrats at Joint Secretary and equivalent level on Monday. Here is a list of all the bureaucrats who have been given new assignments in the reshuffle:
- Bharat H Khera, a 1995-batch IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of the Cabinet Secretariat. The appointment takes effect "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years i.e. up to November 11, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Vimalendra Anand Patwardhan, a 1996-batch IA&AS officer, has been appointed as Joint Secretary & FA of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The appointment takes effect "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years i.e. up to October 25, 2022, or until further orders."
- Nagaraju Maddirala, a 1993-batch IAS officer of Tripura cadre, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Coal. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- S Suresh Kumar, a 2000-batch, IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Commerce. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years i.e. upto August 23, 2021, or until further orders."
- Vineet Mathur, an Indian Postal Service (IPoS) officer of 1994-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Consumer Affairs. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Sanjukta Mudgal, an Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer of Madhya Pradesh, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Culture. She has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure up to her superannuation on March 31, 2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Puneet Agarwal, an IAS officer of Tripura cadre of 1998-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Defence Production. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years i.e. up to October 24, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Vishal Gagan, an IAS officer of Odisha cadre of 1998-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Ministry of Defence. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Subodh Kumar Singh, an IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre of 1997-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Food & Public Distribution. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Nipun Vinayak, an IAS officer of Maharastra cadre of 2001-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Health & Family Welfare. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Padmaja Singh, a Central Secretariat Service (CSS) officer, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Health & Family Welfare. She has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto her superannuation on October 31, 2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Chandra Shekhar Kumar, an IAS officer of Odisha cadre of 1992-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Higher Education. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years i.e. upto 29.01.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Ashok Kumar Parmar, an IAS officer of Jammu and Kashmir of 1992-batch, has been appointed as Advisor (JS level) of Inter-State Council Secretariat under the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed "from the date of the assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years i.e. upto March 23, 2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Ashutosh Agnihotri, an IAS officer of Assam of 1999-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Pravash Prashun Pandey, an Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officer of 1992-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Justice. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders."
- Shantanu, an IAS officer of Tripura cadre of 1997-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Military Affairs. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years i.e. upto March 27, 2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Rajeev Singh Thakur, an IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre of 1995-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Military Affairs. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years i.e. upto December 3, 2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- RK Khandelwal, an IAS officer of Bihar cadre of 1989-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years i.e. upto September 20, 2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Meenakshi Jolly, a Central Secretariat Service (CSS) officer, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Official Language. She has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Meena Balimane Sharma, an Indian Defence Estates Service (IDES) officer of 1992-batch, has been appointed as Additional Secretary (JS level) of Central Information Commission under the Department of Personnel & Training. She has been appointed for a period, "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders."
- Tanmay Kumar, an IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre of 1993-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Ministry of Power. He has been appointed for a period, "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, orders, whichever is earlier."
- Manoj Sahay, an IA&AS officer of 1994-batch, has been appointed as Director (A&F) of National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) (JS level) under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Ashish Kumar Goel, an IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre of 1995-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Rural Development. He has been appointed "from date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders."
- Santosh Kumar Yadav, an IAS officer of Utter Pradesh cadre of 1995-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of School Education & Literacy. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Balachandra Subramoney Iyer, an Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officer of 1994-batch, has been appointed as Deputy Director General (JS level) of Department of Telecommunications. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Hari Ranjan Rao, an lAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre of 1994-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Telecommunications. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Rakesh Kumar Verma, an lAS officer of Punjab cadre of 1993-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Ministry of Tourism. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Subodh Yadav, an lAS officer of Karnataka cadre of 1999-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. He has been appointed for a period, "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders."
- Vinayan J, an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of 1994-batch, has been appointed as ED (Admin) of National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) (JS level), Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Ashok Kumar Singh, an lAS officer of Kerala cadre of 1999-batch, has been appointed as ED (Projects) of National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) (JS level), Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years i.e. upto January 21, 2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
- Manoj Sethi, an Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) officer of 1993-batch, has been appointed as Joint Secretary & FA of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. He has been appointed "from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier."
