New Delhi: Anil Vij, currently working as the Executive Director with RITES Ltd. has been selected for the post of Director (Technical) in the same organisation.  Vij had joined this PSU in 2005 as General Manager.  He has also served as Director, Mechanical Engineering in the ministry of Railways from 1998 to 2003 fro 5 years. His responsibilities in that role included strategic planning and implementation for Diesel Locomotive Maintenance and Operations over Indian Railways, Transfer of Technology – Induction of EMD locomotive technology, upgradation of ALCO technology.

In June 2013 Vij got promoted as Group General Manager at RITES only and last year in July 2018 he had been promoted as Executive director.
