KIOCL celebrates 67th Kannada Rajyotsava Day

Kannada Rajyotsava, also known as Karnataka Formation Day or Karnataka Day, is a state public holiday and celebrated on 1 November of every year

Bengaluru: T Saminathan, CMD, KIOCL inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp in front of the Corporate Office followed with a floral tribute to Bhuvaneshwari. SK Gorai, Director (F), Bhaskara Reddy, Director (P&P), BK Mahapatra, Director (C), and Prashanth Kumar Balsawar were present on the occasion and joined CMD in lighting the lamp and floral tribute to Bhuvaneshwari.

Later, Kannada Flag was hoisted by CMD with the state song "Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate" composed by National poet Kuvempu. Senior Officers, Employees, and contract labours of KIOCL were present on the occasion.

T Saminathan distributed sweets to all present.
