MOIL records best ever production in Jan

With a production of 1.26 lakh tonnes of Manganese (Mn) Ore in January, MOIL has recorded best ever January production since inception

New Delhi: State-owned MOIL stated in a regulatory filing on Saturday that it has recorded best ever production in the month of January since its inception. The filing said, "With a production of 1.26 lakh tonnes of Manganese (Mn) Ore in January, MOIL has recorded best ever January production since inception, which is 7.7 percent higher than the corresponding period last year."

"Sales at 1.32 lakh tonnes of Manganese ore during January was higher by 31 percent as compared to a year ago," said the company. Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD MOIL, stated that "MOIL's performance has been showing upward trend in last few months and the company is geared up for improved performance in FY23."
