NHPC organises a free medical camp

NHPC Limited organised a free medical camp under its corporate social responsibility and sustainable development (CSR&SD) programme

New Delhi: NHPC Limited, in association with Rural Primary Health Centre (PHC), Dhauj (Haryana), Max Hospital, BK Hospital (Faridabad) and Centre for Sight (Faridabad), organised a free medical camp at Dhauj, Haryana on Tuesday.

The camp was organised under NHPC's 'corporate social responsibility and sustainable development' (CSR-SD) scheme. On the occasion, NHPC's Chief General Manager (Medical Services) Dr Kamla Fartyal, Dr Rakesh Ranjan and Dr Sushma Trivedi were also present.

As per NHPC Limited, about 925 persons from nearby areas availed the free medical consultation from the NHPC free medical camp.

During the camp, free medical consultation was given on heart disease, gynaecology, paediatrics, eye, orthopaedics etc. and blood sugar, haemoglobin, etc. Tests were conducted and necessary medicines were also provided as per the requirement. 168 patients also underwent eye examination, out of whom 118 patients were provided spectacles free of cost.
