NHPC signs letter of intent with NEA Engineering Company

New Delhi: NHPC Limited has exchanged a letter of intent (LoI) with NEA Engineering Company Limited, Nepal, for mutual co-operation in the field of design and engineering on Friday in the presence of NHPC's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Balraj Joshi.

On this occasion, a meeting between NHPC and the hydropower delegates of Nepal was held at NHPC Corporate Office Faridabad, Haryana. The delegation from Nepal included BKSHCL's Board of Director & Government of Nepal's former Energy Secretary Anup Kumar Upadhyaya and NEA Engineering Company Limited's Managing Director Hitendra Dev Sakya. The meeting was also attended by NHPC's Director (Projects) Ratish Kumar, Director (Personnel) Nikhil Kumar Jain, Director (Finance) MK Mittal and other senior officials from NHPC.

With the exchange of this letter of intent (LoI), a new journey, both for NHPC and NEA Engineering Company Limited, has begun today for mutual co-operation and collaboration in the field of hydropower development in Nepal.
