New Delhi: Rajiv Agarwal has assumed charge as Director (Technical) of Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna PSU, on September 26, 2022. He has extensive technical and consulting experience across the hydrocarbon value chain.
Rajiv Agarwal graduated in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee. He joined EIL as Management Trainee in the year 1988. He has served EIL in various capacities and led the successful implementation of many prestigious projects in the Oil & Gas and fertilizers sectors.
During his illustrious career spanning over 33 years, he has led the design of mega refineries & petrochemical projects, Gas Processing complexes & Fertilizer Projects. He has led teams of Process Design, R&D, Environment, Water & Safety and other divisions of the company and is also leading the company's initiatives in the sunshine areas like Green Hydrogen, Biofuels, Net Zero interventions, Renewables, etc.
