RERA reviews status of delayed projects in Greater Noida

New Delhi: The Greater Noida branch of Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) has taken stock of the progress of a total of 7,240 flats by eight builders against whom complaints have been lodged of delay in execution.

According to officials, the drill will go on in order to monitor how far the projects have come and ensure that those running behind schedule are expedited.

The builders whose projects were reviewed were JNC Construction Ltd, Earthcon Universal, Nandi Infratech, ANS Apartment Ltd, Hebe Infratructure Ltd, JKG Construction, Gulshan Homz and Morpheus Developers Ltd.

"These projects have been reviewed and the builders asked to speed up work. This exercise of reviewing individual projects will continue for all builders whose flats are overdue and against whom complaints have been lodged by buyers," said RERA member Balwinder Kumar.

The builders whose projects were reviewed were JNC Construction Ltd, Earthcon Universal, Nandi Infratech, ANS Apartment Ltd, Hebe Infratructure Ltd, JKG Construction, Gulshan Homz and Morpheus Developers Ltd.

Kumar said a total of 850 flats were yet to be delivered by JNC Construction, 1,958 by Earthcon Universal, 750 by Nandi Infratech, 486 by ANS Apartment, 718 by Hebe Infrastructure, 878 by JKG Construction, 1,100 by Gulshan Homz and 500 by Morpheus Developers.

"We examined the progress of these projects. The builders said some of the flats would be delivered by December 2019. All the flats are expected to be handed over by December 2020. We will continuously supervise the progress of these projects," Kumar added.

The Greater Noida bench of RERA had earlier reviewed projects of 13 builders. So far, RERA has reviewed the progress of 32,440 flats.
