Syamkamal N is new Company Secretary of Cochin Shipyard

Syamkamal N, who was serving as Assistant Company Secretary at Cochin Shipyard Ltd, has taken charge as Company Secretary at the PSU

New Delhi/Cochin: Syamkamal N has taken over as Company Secretary of Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Shipping, on Saturday. He was serving as Assistant Company Secretary in the same organisation. With his appointment, he has replaced Kala V, who demitted office on the same day, owing to her selection to the post of Company Secretary in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). Syamkamal N will also act as the Compliance Officer for the company. The information was given by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) in a regularity filing to the stock exchange on Saturday.

Background

Syamkamal is an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He was appointed as Assistant Company Secretay of Cochin Shipyard Limited in May 2013. He has a total experience of approximately 10 years in various listed companies, including Manappuram and JRG (presently Inditrade) Group of Companies.
