Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal visits REIL

Arjun Ram Meghwal appreciated the innovations being made by REIL in the areas of dairy, solar energy, Information Technology, security surveillance and e-mobility

New Delhi/Jaipur: Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Arjun Ram Meghwal visited REIL premises. REIL MD Dr AK Jain welcomed him and the minister inspected various equipment/ solutions manufactured/ provided by the company in the dairy industry, such as electronics milk analyzers and solar power. He appreciated the innovations being made by REIL in the areas of dairy, solar energy, Information Technology, security surveillance and e-mobility. He acknowledged and congratulated REIL employees for their dedication and sincere efforts for achieving milestones and wished the company a bright future.

The minister appreciated a "Nukkad Natak" staged by the employees of REIL on Swachhta theme. On this occasion, tree plantation was done by the minister and the company quarterly "News Letter- प्रगति Insights" for the period April- June 2019 was released. Speaking on the occasion, Jain stated that REIL is bringing technology to the rural mass through innovation, absorption of new technology and adopting good corporate governance practices. It has aligned its activities in line with government initiatives like Make in India, National Solar Mission, National Dairy Plan, FAME India, Skilling India, Digital India and Swachh Bharat Mission etc.

He also stated that the company is supporting doubling the farmers' income mission of the country by coordinating solar roof top and dairy business.
