Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav: BCCL vaccinates 250 safai karmacharis

New Delhi: Under the nationwide 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebrations, Bharat Cocking Coal Limited (BCCL) organised a special vaccination drive for Safai Karmacharis. Held at Ambedkar School of Martial Arts, Jagjeevan Nagar, Dhanbad, the campaign has benefitted a large number of people especially apart from Safai Karmacharis of BCCL with the first dose of Covishield.

"Safai Karmacharis have been the backbone of BCCL's fight against COVID-19 right from the beginning," BCCL said in an official statement.

With their dedicated and continuous efforts, BCCL has been able to provide uninterrupted services in its COVID-19 hospitals, quarantine centres, offices, mines and colonies. Those who received the first dose of the vaccine were also issued with an envelope containing a bottle of hand sanitiser and a reusable cotton face mask. A total of 300 hand sanitisers and face masks were distributed on the occasion.
