New Delhi: RINL- Vizag Steel Plant (RINL-VSP) on Saturday said that it has assigned Bridge & Roof Company (India) Ltd. as Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for its various engineering works. In this regard, an MoU has been signed with Bridge & Roof towards PMC from concept to commissioning for execution of miscellaneous civil, structural, electrical and mechanical engineering works of RINL.
The MoU has been signed and exchanged by RINL's Director (Projects) KK Ghosh and Bridge & Roof Director (Projects Management) SS Rawat in the presence of RINL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) PK Rath. The MoU will be valid for three years and has a provision to extend by two more years.
It's worth mentioning that Bridge & Roof is a 'Miniratna' PSU under the administrative control of the Department of Heavy Industries and is associated with a lot of projects in RINL – both at Visakhapatnam and also at Forged Wheel Plant at Rae Bareilly.
