CCI CVO Hemantkumar Ratilal Patel (ITS) gets tenure extension for two years

New Delhi: Cotton Corporation of India Limited's (CCI) Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Hemantkumar Ratilal Patel (ITS) has been given a tenure extension. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Competent Authority has approved the proposal for extension of deputation tenure Patel for a period of two years beyond February 4, 2022, i.e. up to February 4, 2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Patel is an Indian Trade Service (ITS) officer of 2000-batch. He has been serving as CVO of CCI since February 4, 2019.

Further, in a separate order issued on the same day, the government has also approved the proposal for extension of the deputation tenure of Arti Chhabra Srivastava (IOFS) as CVO of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). She has also been given a tenure extension for a period of two years beyond December 16, 2021, i.e. up to December 16, 2023, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Arti is an Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) officer of 1990-batch. She has been serving as CVO of SEBI since December 2018.
