HAL’s Prasenjit Bhattacharjee receives ‘PR Media excellence Award’

New Delhi: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited's (HAL) Chief Manager (Media & Communications) Prasenjit Bhattacharjee has been honored with the 'PR Media Excellence Award' presented by the Media Federation of India for his outstanding contribution in the field of Public Relations. Leading Media Educator Veteran and President of Asian Academy of Film & Television Sandeep Marwah, presented the award to Bhattacharjee in a Media Excellence Award function organized by the Media Federation of India in New Delhi.

The function was attended by PR & Media professionals, Media educators and Journalists. Arun Sharma, National President, Media Federation of India, Om Prakash, Former GM (PR), Power Finance Corporation, Gurmukh Singh Bawa, Former GM (PR) of Airports Authority of India and senior Journalist Shiv Bhatia were present at the function.

Prasenjit has around 20 years of experience in PR and Media in Public Sector organisations with specialisation in Electronic Media. In the initial career, Prasenjit was associated with Television Journalism with News Today Group (ETV) as Senior Reporter and graduated to become Principal Correspondent, Delhi Bureau. During over 8 years stint with Electronic Media, he had covered a wide range of news and features and fronted live news programmes. Prasenjit has been an accredited journalist of the Press Information Bureau.

Prasenjit has also served Goa Shipyard Ltd (GSL) in 2007 as Manager (PR) and moved up the ladder to become Deputy General Manager (PR). He has conceptualized and executed a number of Strategic PR and Media relations programmes for Image Building and Brand enhancement of the organisations.
