NALCO wins Best Export Performance Award

Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) has rated NALCO as Best Export Performer in 'Net Foreign Exchange Earning CPSE' in the country

Bhubaneswar: Navratna PSU NALCO, under the Ministry of Mines, has bagged the award for Best Export Performance at the Dun & Bradstreet PSU Awards 2019. The award given to NALCO in recognition of the stellar role played by it among the (not needed) public sector undertakings (PSUs) in the Indian economy as well as in the wider socio-economic development, an official release said.

The award was presented by Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Arvind Sawant at the award ceremony in New Delhi. NALCO clocked export earnings of Rs 4,792.71 crores in 2018-19, which is the highest-ever since inception, registering a growth of 18 per cent over the corresponding period of 2017-18. Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) has rated NALCO as the third-highest 'Net Foreign Exchange Earning CPSE' in the country.
