NHPC signs MoU with NIT-Durgapur to undertake R&D activities

NHPC Limited has signed an MoU with NIT-Durgapur for availing the services of NIT Durgapur for undertaking R&D activities in the field of science, engineering and technology

New Delhi: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between NHPC and NIT-Durgapur has been signed between NHPC Limited and NIT-Durgapur for availing the services of the latter for undertaking R&D activities in the field of science, engineering and technology. The MoU signing ceremony took place virtually on Wednesday, January 12. 

NHPC's Executive Director (R&D) Harish Kumar and NIT-Durgapur's Director Prof. Anupam Basu signed the MoU on behalf of NHPC Limited and NIT Durgapur respectively.

The MoU has been signed in the presence of NHPC's (Projects) Biswajit Basu, Executive Director (O&M) Rajesh Sharma, Executive Director {Design (E&M)} MG Gokhale and NIT Durgapur's Director Prof. Anupam Basu.

In the signing ceremony, the Chairman of MoU Committee of NIT Durgapur Prof. P Kumbhakar, Members of the MoU Committee of NIT Durgapur, General Manager (R&D) Brij Mohan, General Manager (R&D) AK Yadav were also present.
