NLCIL & NIPM jointly organise business quiz competition

Neyveli: National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) in collaboration with NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Coal, organised 'National Business Quiz Competition 2019' at Neyveli. Thirty seven teams from colleges all over Tamil Nadu participated in this event. Two teams from the stream of executive MBA of Annamalai University, in collaboration with NLCIL, came first and second in this competition.

The NLCIL team qualified for the southern regional round to be held at Bangalore shortly. Dr L Karthikeyan, Payal Panda, Dharmarajan and Vigeshwar were the team members. The award ceremony was held on Monday evening. R Vikraman, Director (HR), NICIL and the Chairman, NIPM Neyveli Chapter, were the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, Vikraman motivated the student community to enhance their quiz skills and consistently learn the latest happenings in HR domain in particular and business in general so that they would come out with flying colours in all such competitions.

Apart from the winning teams, all the participant teams were issued participation certificates. N Sadish Babu, Executive Director (HR), senior HR executives and all other HR executives participated in the award ceremony. C Thiagaraju, Secretary, NIPM, Neyveli Chapter and Chief General Manager (HR), NLCIL made all the arrangements.

What is NIPM?

NIPM is the premier professional body for the development of HR practices in India. It has its headquarters in Kolkata.  With the objective of developing young talent among HR students, NIPM is organising a National Business Quiz at a three-tier level.
