SAIL conducts awareness programme for contract workers

The awareness programme, called Daksha, was organised by SAIL and was attended by 15 contract labourers at Rourkela Steel Plant

New Delhi: An awareness programme for contract labourers working in Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) was held at HRDC by SAIL. The programme, called Daksha, was attended by 15 contract labourers. The programme was aimed at making contract labourers aware of safety practices to be adopted and enhancing their skills. A session was conducted on general safety.

In another session organised on the theme, 'Working at RSP for RSP,' topics like self-development, interpersonal relationship, discipline, working conditions, SOPs, SMPs, teamwork, welfare amenities and different motivational schemes were dealt with. The event was co-ordinated by HC Panda, Senior Instructor, HRD.
