Satya Narain Kapri assumes charge as Director (Technical) of SECL

Satya Narain Kapri has taken over charge as Director (Technical) of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) on Thursday

New Delhi: Satya Narain Kapri has taken over charge as Director (Technical) of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a PSU under the Ministry of Coal, on Thursday. Prior to taking over charge as Director (Technical) of SECL, he was serving as General Manager in the same PSU.

According to an earlier order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Kapri has been appointed to the post of Director (Technical) of SECL with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e., up-to December 31, 2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Kapri is an Engineering Graduate (B. Tech. in Mining) from ISM, Dhanbad. He has experience of over 35 years in opencast and underground mining.
