Shripad Naik pays maiden visit to HAL

Bengaluru: Minister of State for Defence Shripad Yesso Naik paid a maiden visit to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) facilities on Wednesday. He was received by HAL CMD R Madhavan and senior officials of HAL at the Helicopter Complex. The officials accompanied him during his visit to LCA Tejas Division, Rotary Wing R&D Centre, LCH, IMRH and LUH hangars. The minister was briefed on current developments, future proposals and projects of the company.

"We are proud to see the work done by HAL in the manufacturing of helicopter and other fixed wing aircraft. We should make more efforts to be self-sufficient in the field," said Naik.
