The Government has approved the appointment of Vinay Kumar Singh (IRS) as the new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Projects Equipment Corporation (PEC) Limited

New Delhi: Vinay Kumar Singh (IRS) has been appointed as the new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Projects Equipment Corporation (PEC) Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. The government has approved the proposal for his appointment recently. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post of CVO of PEC Ltd for an initial period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Vinay Kumar Singh (IRS) is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 1997-batch.

PEC Ltd was incorporated in April 1971 in New Delhi, India. It is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India. The company's primary business thrusts are in exports, imports, deemed exports, third-country trading, arranging financing, logistics, project exports and management. Over the last three decades, has expanded its role to become an international business organizer and a provider of integrated trade facilitating services.
