AAI unveils technology-driven pavilion at IITF 2025

The pavilion has been inaugurated by the Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu in presence of AAI Chairman Vipin Kumar and other senior officials of AAI and MoCA

New Delhi: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) announced its strong presence at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art pavilion at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan. The pavilion has inaugurated by Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, the Minister of Civil Aviation, in the presence of Vipin Kumar, Chairman, AAI; Dr Nikhil Kumar Kanodia, Chief Vigilance Officer; M Suresh, Member (Air Navigation Services); Pankaj Malhotra, Member (Finance); Anil Kumar Gupta, Member (Planning), and other senior officials from AAI and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

Showcasing the theme “Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat,” the AAI pavilion in Hall 1G blends technology, innovation and immersive digital experiences to highlight India’s rapidly modernizing aviation sector. The pavilion’s entrance features a futuristic LED archway, leading visitors into a dynamic space equipped with two anamorphic display walls illustrating AAI’s growing airport network, infrastructure development and modernization efforts.

During his walkthrough, the Civil Aviation Minister interacted with officials and explored interactive digital exhibits, gaining insight into AAI’s latest technological advancements and ongoing initiatives.

The pavilion features multiple interactive touch-screen kiosks that enable visitors to explore flagship programmes including UDAN, the AAI Start-up Policy, AAI–Routes Asia 2025, and India’s Air Connectivity Map. A digital flipbook highlights airport architecture that integrates local culture and heritage.

A number of engaging visitor experiences have been introduced this year, including an Air Quiz for aviation enthusiasts and an AI-powered Selfie Zone that generates digital avatars of aviation professionals. A dedicated Briefing Zone offers students and media representatives insights into AAI’s operations and long-term vision for the aviation sector.

One of the most popular attractions is the Live ATC Demonstration, which provides real-time exposure to air traffic communication and control. The showcase is supported by the advanced ATC–CNS Console, underscoring India’s progress in adopting global-standard air traffic management systems. Additional exhibits on Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) technologies highlight advances in navigation systems, communication tools and surveillance infrastructure.

AAI’s participation in IITF 2025, being held from November 14 to 27, reinforces its commitment to strengthening India’s aviation ecosystem through innovation, safety and sustainable infrastructure development. The pavilion reflects AAI’s contribution toward the national vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, positioning aviation as a key enabler of economic growth and enhanced connectivity.
