Arunachal CM reviews progress of 13 HEPs allotted to various PSUs

Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh chaired 6th Steering Committee Meeting to review and monitor the progress of the 13 Hydroelectric Projects allotted to various PSUs

New Delhi: The 6th Steering Committee Meeting to review and monitor the progress of the 13 Hydroelectric Projects (HEPs) allotted to various PSUs such as NHPC Limited, NEEPCO Limited, SJVN Limited and THDC Limited in Arunachal Pradesh was held at Itanagar on September 3. The Meeting was held at the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh’s Residential Office, Niti Vihar, Itanagar.

The Meeting was presided over by the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh in the presence of Raj Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director, NHPC Limited and Mohammad Afzal, Joint Secretary (Hydro), Govt. of India. The meeting was held to resolve the critical issues faced by the 13 Hydroelectric Projects allotted to various PSUs in Arunachal Pradesh.

The Chief Minister concluded the meeting with the assurance of all possible support and cooperation of the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh for fast tracking the onset of above projects.
