Balmer Lawrie bags non-ticketing business from BIS

BIS has signed an MoU with Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. for the arrangement of various non-ticketing services round the year on Pan India basis

New Delhi: The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has signed an MoU with Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. at BIS HQ Manak Bhawan at New Delhi for arrangement of various non- ticketing services round the year on Pan India basis. Under this MoU, Balmer Lawrie will be handling various programs, events, workshops and seminars, exposure visit etc. to be organised at different locations on a Pan-India basis for different offices of BIS.

Balmer Lawrie will take care all requirement like booking of meeting venue, booking of hotel accommodation, travel arrangement, local transport, food arrangements, venue management like audio-video arrangements, reception management and registration desk, banners and standees, emcees, video conferencing facility, printing material, fabrication and stall/ a stage and hall set up, arrangement of cultural programs including artists, obtaining necessary licenses/approvals etc for BIS Branch Offices/ Regional Offices/ Departments at HQs/Training institutes and HQ of BIS.

The MoU has been signed by BIS's Director General Pramod Kumar Tiwari (IAS) and Balmer Lawrie's Director (Service Business) Adhip Nath Pal Chaudhuri in presence of senior officials from both the organisation. From BIS Lt. Col Kumar Shantanu, DDG, (Administration) and Neha Singhal, Deputy Director (General Services) and Ashok K Gupta COO (Travel), Neerav Gupta (National Head, Sales & Business Development from Balmer Lawrie were present in the MoU signing ceremony.”
