BEML secures Rs 5,400 crore order from NHSRCL for bullet train project

BEML has received an order from NHSRCL for the supply and maintenance of high-speed rolling stock, along with associated works related to bullet train corridor

New Delhi: BEML Limited on Friday said that it has secured an order valued at over Rs 5,400 crore from the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL). The order is for the supply and maintenance of high-speed rolling stock and allied works for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor.

The information has been shared by BEML in a regulatory filing to the stock exchnages on September 18.

According to the regulatory filing, the order has been received from NHSRCL for the supply and maintenance of high-speed rolling stock, along with associated works related to the MAHSR corridor.

This order falls in BEML's normal course of business.
