New Delhi: Canara Bank on Monday organised a Financial Inclusion Saturation Camp at Kodigehalli Gram Panchayat in Doddaballapura Block, Bengaluru Rural, as part of the ongoing PM JanSuraksha Saturation Campaign being conducted nationwide between July 1 and September 30, 2025. The programme drew participation from over 700 customers across nine neighbouring villages.
In her keynote address, RBI Regional Director Sonali Sen Gupta highlighted the need for customers to complete Re-KYC formalities and actively enrol in government-backed social security schemes. She also cautioned participants about rising instances of cyber fraud and advised them to update KYC details and reactivate dormant accounts.

He noted that these schemes had extended timely financial protection to millions of citizens during emergencies for a minimal annual premium of Rs 436 under PMJJBY and Rs 20 under PMSBY. During the camp, enrolment counters for PMSBY and PMJJBY were set up, while live Re-KYC facilities were extended to customers. As part of the outreach, cheques were distributed to eight beneficiaries of PMSBY and PMJJBY from Avathi, Doddaballapura, and Kodigehalli branches.
