Ceigal India arm bags Rs 603 crore order from NHAI

New Delhi: Ceigal India on Friday said its arm Ceigall Infra Projects Pvt Ltd (CIPPL) has secured an order worth Rs 603 crore from NHAI for the construction of a six-lane access-controlled spur road in Punjab.

The awarded project involves developing a 10.300-km stretch starting from a point on the Ambala Chandigarh section of NH-205A till the Zirakpur Bypass, under the NH(O) in Punjab, the company said in a statement.

The contract will be executed on the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).

According to the statement, Ceigall Infra Projects Pvt Ltd (CIPPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ceigall India Ltd (CIL), has received a letter of award (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the construction of a six-lane access-controlled spur road in Punjab.

Valued at Rs 603 crore (bid cost), the project includes an 18-month construction period, followed by a 15-year operation & maintenance (O&M) period, it stated.

Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman & Managing Director, Ceigall India, said in the statement, "Securing this project reaffirms our position as a trusted partner in India's highway development and reflects NHAI's continued trust in Ceigall's technical capabilities and execution strength."
