Coal India's subsidiary WCL commissions new HEMMs

New Delhi: To enhance mining operations and bolster production, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a subsidiary of Maharatna Coal India, has successfully commissioned a hydraulic excavator at the Durgapur opencast mine (OCM) and a dozer and a hydraulic excavator at the Bhatadi OCM in Chandrapur Area, Maharashtra.

Coal India took to Twitter to announce the successful commissioning of the new HEMMs by WCL, emphasising their significance in improving operational capabilities. The deployment of these advanced machines signifies the commitment of WCL and Coal India to modernize and optimize mining practices while ensuring increased efficiency and safety.
