Gadkari reviews progress of NHLML projects

New Delhi: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday reviewed the project-level progress of multi-modal logistics parks (MMLPs), ropeways, intermodal stations, and wayside amenities being developed across the country.

The minister, during a review meeting of the National Highways Logistics Management Ltd (NHLML), emphasised the strategic importance of these transformative initiatives in building a future-ready, integrated transport ecosystem, an official statement said.

He noted that these projects will strengthen multimodal connectivity, unlock new economic opportunities, promote balanced regional development, and enhance India's overall logistics competitiveness.

Gadkari also evaluated the key challenges affecting project implementation and directed all concerned stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks on priority and expedite project execution.

He stated that the timely completion of these projects will improve logistics efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and provide world-class infrastructure and amenities for commuters, further advancing the vision of a Viksit Bharat and an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
