NBCC receives work orders worth Rs 144.98 crore

New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has received multiple work orders worth a total of approximately Rs 144.98 crore, excluding GST, from various government entities.

The largest order, valued at Rs 55.91 crore, has been awarded by Steel Authority of India Limited's Bokaro Steel Plant for comprehensive external repair and painting of 654 building blocks in sectors 2, 3, 8, 9 and 11 at the Bokaro Steel City Township in Jharkhand.

NBCC has also received a Rs 23.48 crore order from Bokaro Steel Plant for construction of a 250 x 30 sqm shed with a 25-tonne EOT crane facility in the General Stores Area of the MM-Stores Department at Bokaro Steel Plant. A similar order, also valued at Rs 23.48 crore, has been awarded for construction of another shed with an EOT crane facility at the same location.

The company has received a Rs 15.99 crore order from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for construction of an officers' dormitory building at Mayabazar, DTPS, Durgapur.

In addition, NBCC has secured a Rs 11.21 crore order from North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) for project management consultancy services, from concept to commissioning, for development of a township on 21.66 acres of land acquired by NEEPCO at Umsawli, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, Meghalaya. The amount represents the difference between the previously intimated Rs 130.58 crore order and the revised value of Rs 141.79 crore.

The company has also been awarded a Rs 9.05 crore order by Bokaro Steel Plant for comprehensive upgradation, repair and maintenance of 500 residential quarters in the Bokaro Steel City Township.

Another order worth Rs 5.86 crore has been received from the Enforcement Directorate's Bhubaneswar Zonal Office for interior renovation and furnishing works at its new office premises.
