NBCC secures Rs 172.46 crore project for UCO Bank Headquarters in Kolkata

NBCC has received a significant work order valued at approximately Rs 172.46 crore from UCO Bank for the construction of its new corporate headquarters in Kolkata

New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has received a significant work order valued at approximately Rs 172.46 crore from UCO Bank for the construction of its new corporate headquarters in Kolkata.

The project involves the construction of a modern high-rise structure for UCO Bank’s Head Office at New Town, Kolkata. Notably, the building will adhere to Green Building Rating standards, reinforcing the environmental sustainability aspect of the project.

NBCC will execute the work under its core vertical of Project Management Consultancy (PMC). The scope includes the planning, design, and construction of the office building, incorporating energy-efficient features aligned with green building norms.

The company clarified that the order has been received in the normal course of business, and there is no related party transaction involved. The project is domestic in nature and is expected to bolster NBCC’s order book in the infrastructure segment.
