NSE & BSE open in negative territory in early trade

The BSE opened at 61,163.10 while the NSE opened at 18,117.30.

Mumbai: In the early trade, benchmark indices opened in negative territory on Friday. The BSE opened at 61,163.10 while the NSE opened at 18,117.30. Nifty support levels are lying in the range between 18,180-18,100 and resistance levels are in the range of 18,320-18,440. Further, the Bearish mood will activate only below 18,100 and it can accelerate towards 18,020 marks. The market remains highly volatile.

Bank Nifty support levels lie in the range between 43,470-43,100 and its resistance levels lie in the range between 43,930-44,000. The bearish mode will activate only below 43,100 and can accelerate towards 42,660 marks. Sensex support levels lie in the range of 61,560-61,150 and resistance levels lie in the range of 62,000-62,150. The bearish mode will activate only below 61,150 and can accelerate towards 60,830 marks.

FII & DII

In Thursday’s trade, Foreign Institutional Investors' (FIIs) net buy worth was over Rs 1,414.73 crores as compared to Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) whose net sell share worth was Rs 441.56 crores in Indian equity market.

Position of stocks listed in BSE

As per the live NSE data, there are overall 30 stocks that are in the green zone while 19 are in the red zone and the position of one stock remains unchanged. The BSE live data indicated that 21 scrips are advancing while nine of them are declining. From the Sensex pack, SBI, Bajaj Finance, Titan, ITC, Axis Bank are some of the bullish stocks while NTPC, Tata Steel, HDFC are bearish stocks.

Performance of markets worldwide

As per the data collated by the Market Insider, Asian markets including, Shanghai Composite, Nikkei 255, Hang Seng, closed in positive territory on Wednesday. Australia All Ordinaries open on a positive note on Thursday. However, KOSPI ended in negative territory on May 3.

Most of the US markets including, Dow Jones and NASDAQ ended up in negative territory on Thursday. Most European, South American and African markets ended up in negative territory.
