NTPC Green Energy commissions final 105 MW phase of Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat

With the commissioning of the final 105 MW capacity, the entire 1,200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project has now become fully operational

New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced the commercial operation of the eighth and final phase of its 1,200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project located in Gujarat. The newly commissioned capacity of 105 MW has been developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NGEL. The project has been declared commercially operational with effect from 00:00 hours on May 28, 2026.

With the commissioning of the final 105 MW capacity, the entire 1,200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project has now become fully operational. Following this addition, the commercial capacity of the NGEL Group has increased from 10,516.40 MW to 10,621.40 MW, further strengthening the company’s renewable energy portfolio.
