New Delhi: The Ministry of Power said in a statement on Wednesday that NTPC Limited has achieved a remarkable feat by climbing an impressive 52 positions to secure the 433rd rank in Forbes' prestigious "The Global 2000" List for 2023. This significant jump from its previous ranking of 485th in 2022 underscores NTPC's growing influence and success in the global market, said the Ministry. It serves as a testament to the company's robust expansion, strong financial performance, and unwavering commitment to excellence, it added.

Further, the statement added that Forbes' "The Global 2000" List recognises the world's largest companies, evaluating them based on four key metrics: sales, profits, assets, and market value.
