NTPC operationalises 176-megawatt solar project in Telangana

NTPC on Tuesday said its 176-megawatt solar project in Ramagundam, Telangana, has become fully operational

New Delhi: NTPC on Tuesday said its 176-megawatt solar project in Ramagundam, Telangana, has become fully operational.

In an exchange filing, NTPC declared commercial operations of part 41.6 MW capacity of the said project with effect from June 30, 2026.

With the commissioning of 41.6 MW capacity, the full capacity of 176 MW of NTPC’s Solar PV Project in Ramagundam is declared on commercial operation.

The first and second parts, with capacities of 100 MW and 34.4 MW, have already been declared on commercial operation from May 2, 2026, and May 29, 2026, respectively.

With this, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group stands at 90,899 MW and commercial capacity at 89,819 MW.
