NTPC’s KN Thakur nominated to TEFC of NIRC-ICSI

A Fellow Member of both ICMA and ICSI, Thakur has vast experience and a deep commitment to the advancement of professional education

New Delhi: KN Thakur, Assistant General Manager (Internal Audit) at NTPC Ltd’s Corporate Centre, has been nominated as a member of the Training & Educational Facilities Committee (TEFC) of the Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for the year 2025.

The TEFC plays a crucial role in driving student-centric initiatives and academic development programs under the NIRC-ICSI. As a committee member, Thakur will be actively involved in strengthening the 15-day Classroom Executive Development Program (EDP) and other student-focused activities. The committee also supports faculty selection processes and oversees the organisation of academic events such as Company Law Quizzes, Moot Court Competitions, and Elocution Contests.

A Fellow Member of both the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMA) and ICSI, Thakur has vast experience and a deep commitment to the advancement of professional education. In recognition of his continued contributions to the field of finance and governance, he has also been recently nominated to the Cost Audit and Assurance Standards Board of ICMA.

These dual nominations reflect the strong confidence reposed in Thakur’s expertise by both premier institutes. His involvement is expected to contribute significantly to the professional development of students and young professionals across the country.
